The Illinois Charter MarketPlace is an initiative of the Illinois Network of Charter Schools (INCS). Thank you for your interest in supporting INCS and its member schools in our mission to advocate for and provide high quality public schools for underserved communities. INCS advocates for the improvement of public education by leveraging the charter school model as a catalyst to transform lives and communities. INCS represents and connects approximately 60 different operators that run 142 charter public schools serving nearly 65,000 students.
INCS is ideally positioned to improve the operational environment in which high quality charter public schools can thrive. INCS does not operate the schools or purchase goods and services on behalf of schools. However, INCS can connect outstanding companies with INCS member schools. By serving as a connector rather than a provider of goods or services, INCS enables member schools to reduce operational costs through efficiencies of scale without sacrificing the operational autonomy that is key to their success.
Business Membership in INCS
The best way for you to connect with our schools is to become a business member. Our member schools understand the power of partnerships between schools and businesses and trust the Marketplace to lead them to vendors that offer preferred pricing, reliable service and/or products, and actively promote the charter school movement. As a business member, depending on the membership level you select, you will have opportunities to connect with these schools through the following means:
– Being part of an online database with peer reviews of vendors
– Receiving priority notification of events
– Opportunities to promote events in regular newsletters to our member schools (such as the President’s Report, News & Events)
– Opportunities to host a webinar, lunch & learn, or other educational meetings co-marketed to school and operator leaders
– Opportunities to be a sponsor and/or participate in conference sessions
You can sign up to be a business member on the Illinois Charter MarketPlace. The Marketplace provides a tool for schools to search, find and review companies. It’s free for schools to use. In addition to being in the Marketplace, being included in regular communications, and receiving a list of Illinois charter public schools, each business can choose to take advantage of different sponsorship opportunities.
